This is the advanced junior level with emphasis on skills and analysis of strength and weakness. The Select group work on technique with the introduction of video camera usage, and increased focus on the strategy of playing the game of golf. The group is hand picked by the club professional on the basis of handicap and attitude.

 

Boys and girls can attend between the ages of 12-18 yrs.

 

A handicap of 36 or better is a minimum requirement for selection.

A minimum of 4 juniors are required to start a group and the maximum number will be limited to 8. Until the minimum number to form a group is reached we will operate with a waiting list.

 

Group lessons - Elite group practise consists of group instruction every week (weeks 19-39) throughout the entire season.

 

Coaching Plus – CP is introduced on a monthly basis to monitor skill levels.

 

Individual lessons - Each junior receives 10 individual lessons which can be booked via the pro shop throughout the season.

The Select group are expected to deliver a personal golf activity report to the pro shop each week. The report form can be collected from the pro shop

 

The cost for the Select group participation is kr2000 which includes unlimited range balls for private use. 

Play Days

Members of the Select group are expected to play a minimum of 18 holes of golf per week during the season

The Select group are expected to play in TYGK competitions

The Select group may be required to assist with the coaching of/playing with the Mini-Tigers and Tigers groups.

While juniors do not require a membership share in the club, an annual junior membership is required for participation.
